Last month I was there twice. Both times got right out the next day. Labor day weekend I was stuck there and could not get unloaded until Tue. Morn. Good wait pay!!

I delivered a load in Lubbock this past Monday morning and deadheaded back to Dallas where I have been sitting since then. I was number 1 on the board when I arrived Monday night and have been number 1 since then. I turned down one short load on Wednesday that didn't pick up until Thursday and had deadhead miles that exceeded the loaded miles.
So yes, right now I totally agree that freight out of Texas seems slow. On the other hand, I may get a weekend load going to Detroit today that will pay me well and have me in a great spot Monday morning.
The consolation for me is I live in Dallas so I am sitting on my couch rather than in my truck right now.
