Free Showers Two for one Buffet

We stopped in Wendover NV and found a heck of a deal. They have free showers at The Truckers Lounge which is in the over flow parking lot for the Peppermill Casino. You just get off I80 and go south and right beside the interstate is the over flow parking lot. You can see it very easy if you are east bound on I80. You have to show a CDL License and you are given a very fluffy towel and a shower key. After you take a shower you get a two for one coupon for the buffet at the Peppermill Casino. The weekday buffet is 12.99 and is Prime Rib and Seafood. We really enjoyed the meal and getting a nice hot free shower. Very nice bargain!

I thought that was funny also! We were more interested in the showers so really have no idea if you could go in and ask for the coupon.

There was parking in that lot for at least 100 trucks so plenty of room.

The only thing you have to do is show your CDL and ask for the coupon for the 2 for 1 buffet. You can use that at the Peppermill, Rainbow or Montego Bay Casino's but the Peppermill has the best buffet.

The Trucker's Lounge also offers free coffee and the laundry area was only .50 for the washer and dryers (that is what it was the last time we were there)

Now if you like to gamble, the Red Garter is best for that - you don't have to spend much and can have a great time for hours!

You know I wondered if the truckers lounge had a laundry room. Sure glad we picked the best buffet to start with as it really was good.

We decided to let someone else lose enough at the slot machines to cover the cost of our showers and buffet.

We will be stopping again though.

Once in a while Ill Splurge and a Steak well done or Some Chicken and a good Soup and Salad Bar is good as well.

This is the way Mom use to do it,,,make ya shower first then sit at the table,its amasing how many forgot good table manners especially at a buffet,,sounds like a good place to stop if your in that area

Speaking of showers,,I assume most know that the ohio turnpike offers free showers (no reason to stay dirty) ya just need your own towel and supplys. I was amazed at how many dont know this,,(so lets keep it between expediters let the 18wheelers go dirty)
