I seriously doubt you will get anything back from Panther, but if you check with the State of Ohio's Isurance Commissioner I think you will find "Workmens Comp" is not required by State law. Also unless things have changed at Panther your "Workmens Comp" Insurance Policy is from "Zurich Ins Comany" and it states in at least 16 point letters on the first page "This is not "Workmens Compensation" and should not be considered as such. When I brought this to Panthers attention and said I don't want it with held from my pay, Panthers answer was "Don't drive"

If you have an employee in ohio, workmens comp is mandatory, occ acc ins is similar to workmans comp, but isnt workmans comp, and if you are the under a lease making you a lease operator, all you need is the ooc acc ins,as you wont be an employee

I missed the post that Mikeangel felt needed edited, but since then, a few more things have been revealed that explain some of their frustration, and might have caused my earlier advice to be different. Namely: 8mpg fuel mileage , and a foam slab to sleep on, in a leaky box. That's just disgraceful, IMO, and that owner should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of folks who want to work, and don't know how they're being ripped off for the privilege of making money (mostly for the slimy owner).
