FOX fact-checking Palin?

This is just too rich.

Even Fox News has started fact-checking Sarah Palin. Last night anchor Bret Baier responded to Palin's claim during a speech Friday that the phrase "In God We Trust" had recently moved from the face to the rim of the new dollar coin: Another case of Obama pushing a secular America, Palin implied. But as Baier joined Politico in pointing out, the coin redesign was actually commissioned in 2005—by a GOP-led government—and approved by George W Bush, TPM reports.http://tpmlivewire.talkingpointsmem...s-palins-claims-about-dollar-coin.php?ref=fpb

All polititions from ALL parties should be fact checked and VETTED. IF the press did that, as is their job, we would NOT be in the mess we are in today. It is also VERY unlikely that many who are in office today would be.

The problem with Palin as it is with others are their advisors are failing them, maybe with a purpose.

She is one who is having her speeches and opinions crafted so she speaks to a specific audience and may have the wrong advisors for those demographis. It has worked in the past where you have a media that is complacent to help the candidate but in her case every f*rt she makes is recorded by the media and reported on like she is the devil.

Too bad the misstatements by Obama and Biden aren't scrutinized by the media with the same vengance given Sarah Palin. With Biden, it's always been a case of foot-in-mouth disease. Palin needs to find a good, experienced advisor like Karl Rove and bounce her current staff. My guess is that he would have told her not to quit as governor of AK and to continue padding her resume with executive experience. Of course she could also do the Hillary Clinton thing and move to another state in the lower 48 - MT, WY, ID, UT for example - and run for the senate.

...to continue padding her resume with executive experience.
Well, hey, Caribou Barbie was Miss Congeniality in the Miss Alaska beauty pageant, and she was a sportscaster in Alaska, reporting on important stuff like sled dog races and frozen snot flinging. As for executive experience, she is the Executive-In-Charge of padding her Wiki page.

She's toxic. Many Republicans find her suspect, and she'll never win over the Democrats nor the fence-sitters.

But what do I know. I said Obama has no chance in a national election. Whoops.

You're just afraid of her Turtle just like the MSM, Democrats and liberals. The Republican party is afraid of her and that is exactly why they are keeping there distance from her. She's the only true American politician out there looking out for other patriots like myself.

Afraid of her? That's pretty funny.

She has a 69% favorable rating with Republicans, which isn't all that surprising, and a 72% unfavorable rating with Democrats, equally unsurprising. But the Independents, the ones with the level head, the ones with the calm center, the ones who decide presidential elections, she stands at 41% favorable, 48% unfavorable. That's a figure that needs to be 56% favorable and closer to 32% unfavorable for her to have any chance of being elected to the presidency.

In the midst of a speech about her not not being a quitter, she just up and quit as Alaska governor, and has yet to offer up an explanation. That's gonna be tough for a lot of people to overlook. It's a concern, and if that means I'm afraid of her, then I guess so. Mark me as very afraid. If that's a "true American politician" who is looking out for patriots, we're screwed, one and all. I don't trust her. I can't. She said she wasn't a quitter, then promptly quit.

In any event, we're left with what she's doing, instead, as the explanation. She's on a book tour, shilling her wares. She's hoping that after being demonized by the media and by the left (redundant, I know), that a series of book tour interviews will humanize her back to a pit bull with lipstick. Good luck with that. Michael Vick did time for dog fighting, and Joe Namath has to keep his dog, Leo, chained and muzzled at all times. Yeah, we need a pit bull with lipstick right about now. Makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy, dudnit?

Softness without strength is weakness. Strength without softness is just mean. - Ghandi

Sarah Palin is neither strong nor weak. She's slathered with cupidity. Her failed quest for a reality TV show and then having to fall back on her book deal makes that abundantly clear. Watch as this woman who has such disdain for the media will bend over backwards for the opportunity to be interviewed by it, now, when she needs it. She has to earn that $5 million advance.

This is why she is going on Oprah?

I think she has hit rock bottom with the image thing and shouldn't run for anything at this point, but that's because I think Oprah and her show illustrates the hypocrisy of politics.

Doesn't anyone have any political morals any more?

Here is Oprah, BIG supporter of Obama who you ran against and now you are going to sit on his show and pitch yourself?

It is like a actor or actress going on Leno to pitch their new show on CBS. There is something very wrong with one competitor helping promote another's product.

She is better suited for the RNC and changing it from the inside. It is pretty much a lost party, without a leader or direction and no one seems to know what it stands for.

She's about as Manchurian as it gets, maybe even more so than Obama. But, dang, she sure is purty.

Seriously what news do you watch? Is it MSNBC?

Muttly, if you paid attention at all you would know exactly what news stations and pundit shows I watch and what radio shows I listen to. It is entertainment my flea infested friend, when people finally understand that and start thinking for themselves then maybe we could have some civilized dialogue on what ails our country and its citizens.

Are you being sarcastic again?
