2 questions: why did FMCSA not flag Peilsticker's wife & known associates, knowing he could be expected to use a 'front' to start another trucking/related business? Which he did, of course, twice.
Why is someone whose bankruptcies [both corporate & personal] were caused by deliberate fraud permitted to 'wipe the slate clean'?

And what makes him think he's not culpable as CEO? Says he didn't know, then goes on to say he 'talked' to the CFO about the delinquent taxes? Would not the responsible thing be to maybe look into something this weighty yourself rather then relying on a he sd she sd? What incentive did the CFO have to continue down that dark road of cookin the books and ignoring the IRS if not coerced by someone? Come on already!

DOT & FMCSA are "all about" preventing the chameleon carriers who are hiding their safety & violations records, but CEOs like Peilsticker ruin just as many lives as a whole fleet of trucks hurtling down the Grapevine without brakes. When [no - IF] they get caught, they just file bankruptcy and have their wife apply for authority next time. Does anyone wonder how a woman with no employment history in trucking, let alone mgmt, is going to run a trucking firm? Nope, that's not their concern, I guess.
Their concern is finding drivers who have a 4" reflector missing. SMH.:mad:
