Actually it has been for a while. We don't seem to care about the million people in Chicago who seemed to have been dead for 54 years voting or care that felons are gaining the right to vote, but if we are asked for ID, God help those who ask or even hint at the idea.

I am pleased to say here in Indiana we do have a voter id law. It has passed all court challenges against it for several years now.
