Flashback: "Humility" one of Beck's 12 values

Preaching is only good if the preacher preaches what those who listen agree with. OTHERWISE it is BAD!! There can NOT be ANY freedom, one must agree and believe or one is despicable. There is NO chance that someone MIGHT be wrong. Since MOST believe that then everybody MUST be wrong. :p

Well.....thanks for clearing that up....yep, clear as mud now! :p

Since you made the claim, I would like to see your example of these "despicable actions" that you speak of.

In an earlier post today, you labeled yourself as a "born again, Evangelical Christian", so in your criticism of Beck's rally, I'm curious to know what your problem is with 3 hours of Praising, Preaching, and Praying about "God, Honor, and Country"?? Yep, despicable one and all....

All those people exercising their despicable rights of peaceable assembly, free speech and religious practices. I'm curious as to what kind of Christian would deny those rights to anyone? We know how the mullahs in Iran react to such activities; maybe we need to refer to some of those writings in the Old Testament that reflect the culture of the 6th century Hittites in order to avoid these "despicable actions".

The ONLY way to insure you own rights is to protect ALL the Rights of others. Once one loses rights, all rights are in danger. Even the ones YOU hold dear. That is how it is.

Commenting on the ethics and motivations of the leadership of such an event is not denying any of the above things to anyone ....

What gets me about those who trash Beck or Rush or even that idiot Ed Schultz is that they keep watching or listening. My TV has a little changy thing so I can watch something else. Amazingly my radio does too! I enjoy Beck and Rush. I turn off Schultz. I also turn off the Dixie Chicks. I'm not trashing Schultz (much) or the Dixie Chicks, I just choose not to listen or watch them. So far we still have the freedom to choose what we listen to! I don't like listening to people who make me want to scream at the TV or radio. That is why I no longer listen or watch Obama. I really don't like to be lied to.

I don't think I turn them on much, either. But, they turn me on, which is what really matters. :D

Can't tell one thing that the "Dixie Chicks" did. Never even seen 'em, at least that I know of. Don't care too. I am not into country for the most part. They are just a part of the 6 billion.

Actually I have found that everywhere ...

MSNBC is the same as Fox is the same as CNN is the same as CBS (talk about bad) is the same as NBC is the same as ABC is the same as CBC is the same as BBC - all of them are about the same except they are on different channels.

Like most Country artists, the Dixie Chicks are best viewed with the sound turned down. This one, though, is the exception. It's just a cute little song about premeditated murder, video staring Lauren Holly, Jane Krakowski and Dennis Franz. Black eyed peas, yum! :D
