I am thinking about entering the expedite world. I have had some discussion with Express Logistics. Can anybody give me any feedback about them?

I think I am going to answer my own question. I attended the expo and met some very nice people. All were very helpful and all were Ladies and Gentleman . So I am going with a statement my mother always said "If you don't have anything good to say about something don't say anything at all'

Well I'll ad a comment or two. I don't know anything about that company. People have been throwing a lot of mud at C/Vans operators and some trying to say they are causing lower rates. Haven't figured that one out yet. Actually I think there are about 7 or 8 top carriers that are good to work with. The problem nowadays is everybody is starting an Expedite company and all the new guys are only operating off the the load boards.. When you get that many companies doing that it only leads to one thing, lower prices same amount of trucks. I've said this since day 1 "You only can get a dollars worth of service from a dollar". Only the top companies have their own SALES STAFF. The stable expedite carriers know their customer base by name, not by bookmark. There is still loyalty among carriers and shippers. Not as much as there has been but when the chips are down they remember who bailed them out. That is just my opinion after 42yrs of trucks.
My suggestion is stick to a major carrier. Maybe if your in a C/Van try Bolt. I've heard they actually are good at helping a new owner out and they run well and honest. Might not make as much per mile but the learning curve is priceless.
Good luck, hope it works out for you.

Fireman52 is a new guy that doesn't know how to use the site properly. The internet and using a computer is all new to me. Hopefully with some practice I'll get the hang of it. My e-mail is. [email protected].
