Can someone tell me where to buy air and fuel filters for my Pro-Heat generator other than just looking up Carrier dealers? Does anyone know the name of the place in Grand Rapids, MI that works on Pro-Heat? Thanks for the help..

Napa, sells them all, the FIlter numbers are different depending on the year you have. Also, Kubota dealers typically carry them. The carrier part numbers are BullCrap nobody else can translate them. Go to a Kubota dealer buy the filters from them and then use thier #'s at Napa in the future.

It's a real PAIN in the rear, but you only have to do it once.

You can get most of them at Walmart in Fram filters. Your manual has the part numbers you can cross reference with. If you don't have it then email the company and ask for a filter list.

Napa's filters leak at least the Oil. When you run accross a Kabota Dealer stock up, prices are not that much more than Napas. Warning never use the Napa Oil Filter on this engine will not seal!!!!

Belts use none other than Goodyear. Napas give in about 30 days (stretch than break) Goodyears will last more than 6 months and generally a year available only at an Authorized Pro Heat Dealer I have found.

I carry one extra but have not had any break since my Napa Expierence, but every six months I have them replaced. You can do it yourself but for $30.00 in labor I let them do it. (Pro Heat)

I,ve used NAPA filters for both fuel and oil and have not had any problems, no leaks. It is possible that the filter they gave you was wrong or damaged. I had to actually call kubota to get the right filter numbers because NAPA couldn't find match's. I had to run a BS number on KUBOTA because they have an agreement with CARRIER not to give out part numbers, I had to tell the guy I bought the engine at a swap meet, he needed the serial number, then he told me. It was a real PAIN.

The Numbers listed in the Manual that carrier supplies don't cross reference. If I had know that up front I'd have purchased the Thermo-King tri-pac instead. PS both the Carrier and the T-King
are manurfactured by the same company in CANADA, The diference between the two is the external case.

Easytrader, has happened more than once. The seal sits in to far not allowing for a tight seal, when the heat dissipates it shrinks and thats where the oil leak comes from.

I can also testify to the belts breaking. Lucky it did not damage the fan as it does so many times. This is why the owners manuual suggests changing every six months I forget the time, but way before a Gator Back (Goodyear) would ever fail. Napa give it about half that time. Or just when you really need it, Toronto at 1 AM in January.
