FEXCC "E" Unit Pay Change

I just heard all new "E" units will be paid by the mile instead of by
%. Change in any industry makes me a little nervous especially when that change generally works out to screw employees or sub-contractors.

Anyone being paid the mile rate for an "E" unit at FED_EX and has the changed raised or lowered payouts?

Thanks,

John

RE: FEXCC

Here's the policy as I know it. A few months ago, FedEx Custom Critical started paying all new tractor leasees by the mile rather than by percentage. Current tractor o/o's have the opportunity to stay with percentage or convert their leases to mileage. The pay per mile is for all dispatched miles including the deadhead. The fsc as of 25 April is $.2475 per mile for the per mile "E" trucks (For the standard tariffs, 17% for percentage trucks; 18.5% west coast).

I have not seen any notification that the per mile revenue will be for any truck other than new sign-on tractors.
