A few more details about this crash can be found at WAVE3.com which is a website for the Louisville TV station. The little info available there indicates the FedEx semi driver wasn't expected to be cited.

Miamiherald.com says driver of suv was driving on a suspended license, not that that will matter...

sad day for all, when everyone is first to blame the truck driver. been in situations myself and its not good. lets just pray for the familys.

Well I can't do nothing but blame the truck driver for this, it seems from all I read the truck is at fault for hitting the vehicle. It seems he was speeding along 65 as many of them do and didn't judge the distance correctly or just didn't care enough to slow down.

One sayes it didn't look like the trucker would be ticketed or cited, another sayes he is at fault...no matter who was at fault, it will be figured out sooner then later, but is it really an issue that he drove for FedEx???

CHEFDENNIS, No it makes no difference who the driver works for when something like this happens, but my thought when I read about it was there are so many FedX drivers on this forum, that maybe someone knew him and hadn't heard about it.
It is truly a sad story for all involved including the driver.
There are many many drivers that drive faster than what they should and sometimes we all need a reality check to be safer when we are behind the wheel.

There are a lot of FedEx Custom Critical drivers on here and I do not see which opco this FedEx driver was driving for.

TeamCaffee... if the accident in question was the same one I saw in a news clip from local television, then it was a tractor pulling double trailers. The news clip gave an aerial view as seen from a helicopter. I will do a little more digging for info. Very sad for all involved.
