Why do you not qualify for white glove services ? And God has nothing to do with it, I doubt God knows anything about FedEx or white glove.

One of the differences between WG and surface trucks is the amount of extra freight handling equipment that is required. Blankets - straps - corner protectors - pallet jacks - lift gate and the list goes on.
Many surface trucks are White Glove qualified but carry pets. These trucks are often called in to take a WG load where the customer does not care if there is a pet onboard or not. We have been in WG for almost a year and I am surprised how many customer specify no dogs on the load notes.
White Glove consists of both dry box and reefer trucks.
We ran a surface truck for six years while carrying our dog Molly. We were on the White Glove waiting list for much of that time. When Molly passed away we were then placed into a White Glove slot and became a fully qualified White Glove truck.
There are many times when we consider dropping the WG flag and going back to being a surface truck and having a pet on board once again. We really miss the calming presence of having a dog and that wonderful happy watching and waiting for our return when we step out of the truck. We have found in our situation that we will stay WG and get this new truck paid for and then once again play with the idea of having a pet.
We enjoy much of the WG freight and the special handling it requires and the challenges that are often presented to us. While we saw some of this in Surface we did not see as much. There are advantages to both programs.
some customers pay for specials needs...someone has to service them...and that is just the way it is....
I'm one of those customers... why just this morning I...uh, nevermind.
I would hire Zane, yes.

I don't know what you mean, I can count on a few owners who followed my advice and is doing very well, better so than our successful expediter. It's funny when you think about it, I'm not the only one who seems to think this way.
Take Load 1 for example...John has a "Special Commodities" division.....stuff a customer wants moved a certain way and handled a certain way....that could also be named White Glove.....
