FedEx is doing away with the CC as just CC

No they aren't doing it the way Panther does it. FedEx is going back to the old way it was when you was at Roberts Express with Cat teams. This is a Win/Win for the company and the drivers. I would rather have the Cat teams anyway. When you call in you talk to the same people in your Cat Group. Their will be CC's 24 hour a day now 7 days a week. Sounds better to me, when before you only could get a CC from 8 am to 5 pm Monday threw Friday. If your an old timer like me and Steve we both will tell you it is a win/win for everyone.

Maybe not identical, but pretty close. Panther's new dispatch operates on teams now. Team A, team B, and so forth. I am familar with the CAT teams as they had them when I was there.
As with the Fedex system, Panther has a relations person on duty 24/7 as well. I only questioned the earlier post because it said the CC were leaving at 3.30 PM
