You may not commit assault to protect someone's dignity or prevent a family from grieving. You're a criminal. I know, I know, you have a worldview in which the establishment, to include the military, cops, firemen, and the American Legion and VFW have carte blanche to do as they please to "protect society." You're still a criminal and should have been treated as such.

the guy's body language tells me there was already bad blood between this driver and customer. he looked like he was readying himself to pitch the package as he approached the gate. the last news i heard was that the driver was " reassigned".

this video went viral because of the time of year and it getting drudge report coverage.

There is a news story on today about another "bad delivery". This time it was a UPS driver.

I looked for it but could not find it. Do you have a link? A Google News search for UPS and UPS bad delivery brings no news story up. As before, a YouTube search of UPS turns up a few UPS bad delivery videos (FedEx has more too), but nothing has the legs that the FedEx monitor toss video has.

It is astounding how a single bad act by an individual driver can get the widespread attention it is. There are other videos on YouTube showing other bad deliveries by other drivers and companies but none of them have received this kind of attention. What makes this one so popular? Why does the monitor toss video stand out?
