Starting Jan 2, 2007 FedEx Custom Critical will use the new C-link macros so drivers can see the breakdown of the load they are offered. We got it in the mail yesterday and it looks really cool and it shows the FSC for deadhead and the loaded miles plus the tolls for the run. It's all broke down and it looks great. Talk to your CC's if your out on the road and want to know more about it.

I can E-mail it to who ever wants to see it because I tried to post it on here but it wouldn't let me do it. It won't be on the c-link until jan 2, 2007

It's about time.I have been bangin' on them for 12 months or more,as have many others. They listened and responded.I like progress, even if it's over due.
Took a look at Panther 2 for sh##ts and grins.Compared the $1.55 per mile(loaded only) to what my trucks have been doing the last 4 months.Run for run,I would be looking at a 18.3% loss in revenue.
What am I missing here? Was thinking about moving 1 truck over to see if made sense to look at a change, but have reconsidered.

Bangin' about the fuel sur charge being on the pay screen is what I'm refering to.With multiple trucks, and the drivrs needing to call in for the fuel to subtract(I pay fuel)is a hassle for all.

Well you could offer your driver a Flat 18% of everything and it comes out a few more dollars to them, but it a whole lot easier to do their settlements this way. My wife posted an add up for drivers or a team on EO and some sent her a nasty e-mail calling her a dumb A$$ for wanting to pay our drivers a flat 18% each of everything even the FSC. Our Driver's out the ones that wanted the change not us. They say it's easier for them to know what thier settlements are.

P.S. they spelled Dumb "dume" I was laughing. I know my spelling is bad but not that bad.

What are you comparing? You don't give a lot of information. What is the $1.55 referring to?
C-link: Are you finally being told what your FSC is at offer time?

I think hes comparring to the $1.55/loaded mile that pll advertises to the total money per mile his trucks make.

A c-link is what FEDEXCC calls their qual com, customer link is what that stands for.

You owner opps that pay 20% less the tolls and fsc,18% is almost 21% without those charges, but believe me,it is much easier to fig how you pay your contracted labor.

And lastly, the qual com,(c-link),is now going to show, the total break down on how the load is paying, from dead head to layover, deadhead to pick up,and so on and so fourth.

hope this put a better lite on the subject

I would say your missing several. The rate is 1.65 if your teams are govt approved. Additionally, you are missing all of the FSC. Somewhere between .25 and .35 the last couple of weeks.
That will get you close to or at the $2.00 mark.
You may want to talk or email Ken Jackson as he moved his WG fleet from Fedex to Panther. He should have some pretty current numbers if looking at just reefer trucks and want to compare revenue numbers.

Dave if you are going to recruit for Panther shouldn't you do that in the recruiters forum and not on a FedEx post? This post is on our new QualComm screens and how nice they are.

I only mentioned it because of post #5 within this thread by Tallcal.
He ask the question, and I answered it.
