FedEx and T-Chek

We have been using the T-Chek system for awhile now. When you get your receipt it will only show the cash price. If you want to know what kind of discount you received at your fuel stop you must know the balance before you get your fuel and then call in as soon as you finish fueling for the new balance. We have found you can call in immediately and find out the balance of your debit dollars.

We track our fuel mileage at every stop so we have just added another step for the time being. We call T-Chek as soon as we finish fueling and get our balance from the debit dollars. When the online system is finished this should be a lot easier. So far we have been very happy with out discounts especially at the Flying J. Even better then our TAB account was getting.

Hoping for an improvement when they get up and running on line. So far the phone system seems cumbersome with a lot more hoops to jump through to get to the information you want. NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DISCOUNTS THOUGH.

I agree with the phone system being a pain. I have put all of their numbers in speed dial and that seems to help. The key right now is just staying on top of your balances.

Hey guys, how you doin? We have not tried the T-check at a "J" yet. Can you use it at the pump like at the other stops or do you need a "J" account. It will be nice to get an on-line system up. Layoutshooter.

Just use the T-Chek card at the Flying J the same as you would anywhere else. Your account at T-Chek is all you need. Works slick

I've only had one problem with T-Check,i was at a mom and pop truck stop,they had to use a T-Check check,took long time to get in and out of the fuel stop.Have had no trouble useing it at card readers,Pilot,TA,Petro,even the J,but that wont be happeneing to often,as I'm not crazy about the flying hook

No problems at card readers just yet and at the Streakin Beacon the other day just handed the card to the guy at the counter (no calling in to register a check:).
While I despise the phone labyrinth to get info I like being able to patron the "J".
BTW what is up with their new menu??? x(

THanks for the info. Does FedEx have things worked out with the "J" about the fuel reciepts or do you still have to send them in? Layoutshooter

True... But only when T-Chek is used. Just as it was with Comchek. You do need to send receipts if paying by cash or credit cards.

That is great we can use it at the Blue Beacon! Had not tried that yet. If you use your T-Chek card at any location do not send in a receipt.

Yep that is what I meant, guess I misunderstood with the Flying J comment as they have not been in our fuel network till now..
Any location you pay cash for fuel you will need to send in your receipts.
