I think almost everyone out here has gone through FedEx Orientation.
let me guess Really Great Lunches? lol Thanks!
When we started we had zero commercial driving experience. We signed on with an owner and drove his straight truck.
Yea,they will make exceptions for certain owners, my first owner got me out of orientation, never been there. I did however attend W/G training though. FedEx requires Haz Mat too but there are some drivers for large fleets able to run without it. Thats just the Feds policy what ever suits them at the moment.

After 'schooling' I'll have CDL-B Air Brake HazMat & Fork Lift Certification. Does anyone know if fork lift comes into play at any point? Just wondering what it's for. Wow this question really shows my newbie stripes.

I think for any owner.[/QUO
Yea,they say you gotta have Passport,Haz Mat and give you thirty days to get it and if you don't then they keep giving you thirty days to comply until it just slips by and you run without it,I guess. But I got mine so I don't miss runs.
lol...we do tend to over debate non-issues, huh? I feel certain that having the training/license will not disqualify you for anything.....how's that?! LolThanks! It doesn't cost anything 'extra' so I Guess I'll take it~since I have too!!! lol
