Depending on the amount you want to risk you can do research and find out when a company might do a pump and dump. I just did it with CBIS and made $800 because they do a PR push around the same time each year.

Sitting in Saskatoon right now, pickup Saturday in Minot ND and take it back up to Saskatoon. Paid DH down to Minot and full Canada pay back up again. It's a good place to be sitting on Monday morning. I almost always get a load out of Canada. The J up here has free electric hookups, love that!

Yup tried those before, didn't do too well. Now, I focus mostly on higher morningstar rating stocks. Hold to them and sell when they are up. I can always go long if they don't go up. Thanks.

I have been investing in different types of stocks while I learn the system. I bought Sprint and Bank of America and did pretty well. I saw the opportunity to make money with penny stocks when I did some research and found the key is to not be to greedy. They are artificially inflated so you want to get out of them once you make a certain percentage. I plan to start a retirement account soon and will only purchase good quality stocks with that account.
