Had A good time over the weekend while Tenntrucker was trying to deliver the load from hell here in VA Beach after he finally found A place that would take the load we went to the boardwalk at the beach, drove acoss the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel and stopped at the gift shop and fishing pier, Climbed the fort story lighthose saw the Battleship Wisconsin and other ships and went to the Military Aviation museum which made for A fun weekend. I am still home with my wife she has A fracture in her neck between L-5 and L-6 and lower back after being rearended at A traffic light 2 miles from home. she has A MRI on wed and lawer appt on thurs and can't drive because of the heavy duty meds she is on als this is her 2nd week out of work due to pain and her inability to do so.
Finished with the truck repair stuff. Now at the Petro south of Louisville. Picking up near here on Thurs, heading for MI. Might get to see the house! 
Cab you draw something more contemporary like a few trucker bombs and some shady characters hanging out in frot of the hook. lol

Stayed in service this week, so I could take next week off. On the 16 th my baby girl will be 3 and then on the 19 th my wife will be 29 so I figured I ll just get the stuff done around the house starting Friday! Any ways caught my trip from Athens al to Skokie il dropped at 030 this morning slept and got woke up for a run from cudahy wi to garland tx. Ill deadhead home after drop with 1610 miles for the week not bad not wanting to work this week
Now at the Pilot in Brooks, KY. Pick up near here tomorrow, heading for MI. Planning to stay at home for the weekend.

I'm safe now!, i'm parked in Chicago just outside the shipper. not a good area but in the guard-shack there's a nice guy that is 88 Y/O. we had a long talk, he told me that he fought WW2, in France. and was on the 2nd wave in. so i had to sake his hand and thanked him for building such a nice country for all to enjoy. real sharp man. but it is sad to see him work for a living at his young age.

In Laredo at the state park campground, always pleasant here...I can't fathom, really, why so many stay in the crowded parking lots at the J and TA when this calm, cool, campground by the lake is so close.
Always up for meeting other drivers who might want to get out of the parking lot and get a bite to eat or have a beer. I've met my best driving friends down here that way. Give a holler or send a pm...

Just out of curiosity can they acomodate A straight truck 46' long and 13' tall ? Do they mind if you run your apu? Just checkin for future ref. and to the speling and punctuation critic "BITE ME"

Ill be in Chicago this week for a random drug test I've known about for 2 weeks lol.
Our office is in summit which isn't too bad of an area but still hate parking at the yard.
