2 calls but nothing today.

Rented my first red box movie. I've been wanting to try it for a while, but the box intimidated me

Nice app for it, to help my fear of finding a drop off.

Actually, pretty good deal. $1.50 for DVD new releases, $2.00 bluray. Only downside is it's due back the next day by 9pm. But at that price, worth the effort, if needed, to drop it off.

Oh, plus rent 10 get one free

Heck, those prices would only get me movies from the 80's at my video store

A beautiful day and I'm off this week. What should I do with my free time? Help my dad find some paid CDL training of course lol. He's retiring in may from his current job and figured might as well get paid to go to training. So far roehl seems like a pretty good option, y'all have any suggestions of who to look up?

Roehl is a very good choice to start out with, IMO. The trucker's report is a wealth of info on t/t companies. I suggest you check it out. But most there will agree Roehl is a good starting company, and beyond.

One company that was on my short list, that happens to be near you in Dayton, is Garner. Seems like a friendly bunch, and they train. They run mostly regional Midwest.

Another one that is raved about is Britton, out of SD. They're a subsidiary of Bison, out of Canada. Very easy going staff, that is dedicated to the driver's success and well being. They'll get you all over the country, if that's what your dad wants.

The company I ran for was AN Webber, out of Kankakee, IL. I don't know if they train anymore, but they are big-time military friendly. Many drivers have been there over 20 years, which should tell you something. Their big thing is water heaters, which they deliver a lot of out west and midwest, and some down south. But they have plenty of other freight going on. I signed on with them thinking I would leave after 6 months, to find something better; and ended up leaving after 14 months, only because my wife had some medical issues. Otherwise, I'd still be with them. I really have no complaints.

Good luck for your father. Hope he enjoys life on the road!

Lost the big long post I had for ya. Most of it was for companies that would road train you, but you had to get your CDL first.

Roehl is a great company to get started with. They pay ok for rookies, tho they have some quirks I don't like, like driver facing cameras. Their trucks are basic. No fridge in most, and no inverter. You'd have to buy/use their inverter, as they have a battery apu, from what I understand.

If your dad can get a grant for cdl training, there are many other good companies that'll road train. I think Roehl requires a year commitment for their training.

Check out the trucker's report, if you haven't already. Many guys there who will point your dad in the right direction. It was an invaluable tool for me to find the company I drove with. Take your time searching and investigating. I took a month, and don't regret that decision a bit.

Good luck to your dad!

Looks like I didn't lose the last post after all. LMAO.

So I mentioned possible injector problem. Checked last night, 25 trouble codes just in CR common rail module.

Runs fine...go in service? :D

Good news is I didn't touch injectors yet. Bad news is...think I'm pulling enitire wiring harness. And its COLD out
