New tires on and back at home. Getting pretty icy out there now.

Found out that the only tire I can use on my 02 Sprinter has been discontinued. Last count there are only 16 left in the nation.

I have been thinking about upgrading from15 inch rims to 16 for a while to open up my options. So I can either stock pile some tires now or will have to convert in the near future.

I have been giving a lot of thought to upgrading the year of my sprinter lately. So I'll add this new info and cost into any future decision.

P.S.- there is one obscure brand that does make them, but I'd be very hesitant to go that route.

as another option..I'd be checking with Wayne to see if changing out the wheels and rear end be possible and not too expensive....

I would stock pile at least 8-12 tires that would buy you a couple years maybe even longer considering your home time...LOL poke.....

Yeah, I had already talked to Wayne about that and what needed to be done. He has the rims and only minor change to accommodate the larger tire size. Biggest cost is just the new tires. I was going to do it when I had to buy 2 tires last year, but changed my mind. Wishing I would have stuck with that plan now.
