Hey Pelican. Looking for something to do? Go over to Aurora - very near you there at the TA and check out the Restoration Building as you go into town by the Railroad tracks. . Way cool old stuff they scab off old buildings. Litle antique shops all over. The other nice place is up by 217 and I-5 - large shopping area with California Pizza, Health Foods Grocery Store with fabulous deli, REI Outdoors, and much more. Just past Wilsonville (mile 286).

A fellow Bolt driver has a very "mild mannered" ( lol stick your hand in the open window, if you dare) German Shepherd" in his van, he leaves the Van unattended from time to time, nothing has ever gone bad.....

oh if you run across them, you can play "fetch" with the dog, just don't try to pick up HIS tennisball until he drops it and sits down.....

This place has the slowest internet connection in the Sprint coverage area. I have time to walk into the truckstop and use the facilities before the next page loads.

We are now sitting at our delivery. This 24 hour place does not open until 0800. OH well, just have to sit and watch the dark building.

We are 57 miles from our house, mmmm, wonder where we are going to spend this weekend?

I delivered to Grand Rapids at noon Wednesday. Sat for 24 hours and got no offers. I've never been available for more than a couple/3 hours with no offers before now. Called dispatch, who thought it was really weird I'd had nothing considering I was the only D in the whole state. Gave it a bit more time and said, screw you guys, I'm going home.

We made it home alive and well. Funny how things work out sometimes. We almost never get loads that bring us near the house. Then, out of the blue, we got this one. On the way home we met my dad for breakfast. He reminded us about his appointment with a cadioligist on Monday. He seemed a bit worried about it as he has been having a few problems. I guess at 87 I might be concerned too. Now, since we are home, I can take him. That is worth one extra day at the house.
