Fuel Air Separation System

Has anyone installed this on their truck?

We have been following Bruce Mallinson and Kevin Rutherfords Friday night get togethers and this system really sounds interesting.

This system is supposed to increase horsepower and also fuel efficiency.

Lots of folks in the high performance Duramax world use these to get the required amount of fuel when they tune the engine for pulling or drag racing (600hp plus).

Never heard anyone claim a fuel mileage benefit but those guys tend to think in gallons per mile not the other way around.

They are fairly well built and hold up well.

Years ago there was a company that cput out a fuel system just like the FASS.The idea was that it takes the air bubbles out of the fuel line,therefore increasing your horsepower and fuel mileage.When you take your truck and have it put on a DYNO,the fuel enters your motor form the DYNO companies fuel tank ,which is usually above you truck,and do to having a gravity flow,the fuel going into your motor has no air bubbles,so now the motor will show a high horsepower than when useing its own fuel system,this is also how the FASS is suppose to work taking the air bubbles out of the system,as was explained to me.If your going to spend the money for this,by the time it will pay for its self,you will have already traded the truck off.Just what ever increases horsepower,also causes less fuel mileage,unless you have a very easy foot.There are many tune-up options you can do,exhaust manifold,muffler,re-configure the ECM,all of which might cause you to loose the engine warantee.Its funny,if you buy everything that is advertized on these trucking shows,you will spend a lot of waisted money.For instance,Ive been useing Equal in my tires as a balancer for years.Well the last set of steer tires I purchased,had such a deal,I had Centramatics installed,and as suggested,had the tries balanced first.Believe me when I say,my truck after the extra money spent,doesnt run any smoother than it did with the other tires and no Centramatics.I get 200000 miles out of my steer tires,I guess i just fell for the hype

Steve many items can be moved from one truck to another. We also have centramatics on our truck and we do believe they help our tires to last longer and we do get great wear out of our tires. We also after we get our new truck will be putting centramatics on immediately they to us are a no brainer for what they cost. With the Centramtics when we replace our tired we do not have to add more Equal we just leave the Centramtics in place they are both the same principle.

Warranty is sure not an issue as that has been long gone so we can do with our truck what we think will help us which is why I am trying to find out if anyone has tried the FASS system.

didnt add equal with the Centramatics,what i was saying,the tire wear and ride isnt any different than when i only used equal before the Centramatics,they can be used truck to truck to

6 or 8 used golf balls will do the same with minimum pocket impact.

good job on the research for the new truck , may it lasts for years.
this system Probably will not do damaged to the Engine , yet you might be interested to learn more about how liquid transport line are designed .

lets start with the engine, it was manufacture for a set HP / Torque .
TxRPM = HP,
there for , increasing the T at a set RPM will increase the HP.
here are some of what effect the T :
efficacy of the engine parts (am not going to get into it now )
# of Pistons
size of the Piston.
Piston travel
"pressure inside the cylinder" (!!!)

for example : motorcycles :

a Harley with a 120 HP
and a Yamaha R1 with a 120 HP (that's a sport bike)
the Y have 4 cylinders running at 13,000 RPM , and have very light parts inside that Engine and drive train.
The Harley have only 2 cylinders that travel about a foot , and at 2,500 RPM produce the same HP , its Engine parts, tranny and drive belt are massive ,do to the extreme T they need to observe !
just because it will not void the warranty , dose not meant that you will have a trouble free truck ,do to this installation.

..............and of course dave nemo had show early this year from a manufacturer conf in fla and they had one person explaining the 25 myths of tire longevity and on that list was, golf balls, sand and any substitute sweetner.

proper inflation, balancing and laignment were the reasons tires wore weell and went the miles.

14 oz of a anti freeze water 50 50 mix will also do the same thing for balancing each tire
