There are quite a few Mennonites who use US #60 to haul pick up bodies attached to Tractors with their families in the bed from Norwood MO into Mt Grove MO. They use the break down lane. They also haul stock trailers back & forth to the sale barn. Along with home made trailers. None of the rigs are registered.
Problem is the kids work the combines and plows when they can reach the pedal.....this will make it so they can't get to the fields across the road....a CDL you have to be 18 to get one.....
Just more government control and intrusion....how many 14-15 y/o kids run the grain wagon down to the mill...how many farm kids will this force out of the fields and then they need to be replaced with someone that has to be paid....Government intrusion and regulations...they what nothing more then to control the people in any manner they can....
They have to have something for all the invaders (illegal aliens, undocumented visitors) that they are about to give blanket immunity too just in time for the 2012 election. They need a job too you know.
No . In pa anyway you can get a CDL @18, but can only drive intrastate not OVR
across state lines.
Note;I might be wrong, because things change everyday.
