I4 Polk City Florida In between Tampa and Orlando Hours 10:00 to 5:00 every day. We spent our day there and had a blast. The place is very interesting with events going on all day. If you have any interest in airplanes take the time to visit. Kermit Weeks has the worlds largest private collection. We also rode in an bi-plane while we where there. Your admission ticket get you into all the exhibits and on the back lot tour and the restoration tour. We did have to pay extra for out plane ride. There is parking for D trucks at no charge. If I could get a picture to up load I would have posted one with our picture and the bi plane.

Did you feel like you were part of FedEx Air Division in that Bi-Plane? Sounds like a great day and fun was had by all! Next time the Wife and I get into that area we will check it out.

Linda I have passed that place many times but didn't know you could get in with a truck. I will certainly stop next chance I get.One time they had a old TWA Lockheed Constellation sitting right off I4.

I rode in a Bi Plane once, it was in Sedonna AZ at their airport.

I will add this when we pulled in to there place of business first thing in the morning they tried to direct us to the dock area. We where there and hour early like normal, when they figured out we where there as tourists they invited us in to have coffee while we waited. Really very nice people.

Rich you have really missed a great place to visit in your own state.
