I'm sure the automated cockpits contribute to boredom, causing pilots to fall asleep.

Thing is, most of the other professions are well compensated for their duties. A professional drivers pay is NOT indicative of the responsibities.

The pilot got the message from the tower requesting his current altitude, he messaged back, "I'll give you an attitude in a second." Lol, spelling for sureRandy Orton is 6'5" and weighs 235 lbs which calculates to a bmi of 27.9....
That's hilarious since he probably had less than 1% body fat....

Im totally against this BMI Sleep Apnea testing, Im a big guy always have been, in HIGH SCHOOL I wore a shirt with a neck size of 19 1/2 inches at 18....its crap, Im sorry CRAP, Lobbys for the Medical Industry especially the SLEEP INDUSTRY, thats a racket, have now got a willing partner who stands to reap profits from there FAT TRUCKERS...i went to a DOT clinic to get my CDL Upgraded and was given a DOT physical that was a Joke, by a Dr who was so short he needed a step stool to look down my throat, he glanced down my throat and gave me a questionairre, I answered honestly, one question said would you take a nap in the afternoon if you could, Since I drove all night, almost every night, I already took a nap in the afternoon, I answerd Honestly....
That started three months of BULL****... the same DOT clinis that gave me the worst physical Ive ever had then proceeded to hold my Medical card hostage until I went to there Sleep Lab....Now I had a job already and we were due to leave that Monday so I was given a home sleep test, when I woke up it was off, its battery had died during the night, when I took it in I was told, OH YES YOU HAVE SLEEP APNEA....Now I wasnt surprised as the railroading was just getting started, Blackmailed into using a CPAP machine, I had to and then had to be checked every 30 days...it was ridiculous....
I could not sleep with a machine blowing air into my lungs with each breath, it was far too forceful, and I asked for it to be adjusted and was told OH NO you must use it at this setting, I gave it three months, I started to feel like a zombie, I was losing sleep, I actually took it off so I could sleep each night because I had to drive each day/night....I could not sleep with this machine ....
I finally had enough, I wnt to a specialist, I asked for him to look at my Physical, to examine me, my BP was good, Im a healthy BIG MAN....He said you definaetly DO NOT need the machine and took care of the paperwork and got me my Medical card renewed for 2 years....Now this LAW is going to have that effect on many guys....Some guys may find it helps, GOD BLESS YOU if its the magic device youve needed, But for me and many others its a FORCED MEDICAL DEVICE AND COST I DONT NEED...
WHY because some LOBBY who manufactures CPAP and runs an Industry that needs Patients, YOU, and anyone elese they can convince this is needed for fat people, frankly its an affront to me, an insult that this industry believes FAT PEOPLE are so unhealthy.....we are not !!!
Many skinny people have Diabetes, Blood Pressure issues, and many other medical conditions but your going to target me and Im **** sick of it. Its time we had some representation in this and some voice and if this ever comes up for testimony in DC, Im going....My driving record is flawless, my accident record is ZERO, my Inspections have been PERFECT, Ive never had a freight claim, Never damaged anything, Never fell asleep or been sleepy behind the wheel....In fact Im just the opposite, I enjoy driving, Im energized and enjoy every mile, no matter where its at, I LIKE TO DRIVE....and If I thought for one minute I was danger to anyone, ID QUIT TODAY....
The Sleep Lobby can kiss my grits, and there mandates and there boards....when THEy ARE ALL TESTED THEY CAN TEST ME, till then Im an American I work for my living and Im insulted and angry they assume because Im a LARGE MAN im a danger....take your busy body lobbys and Sleep Industry money and put it where the sun dont shine !!!!
