Extranet Password Reset

After a week of using the new password, all of the sudden it refuses to accept. Attempts to reset password have not worked.
Does anyone know if the 24 hour to reset applies to both the VRU and the Extranet? The note on the Extranet page says 24 hours to reset, It also says use option 9 option 2. That is for resetting the VRU PW.
