Now now! We must remember that not everyone attending is already working in expedite. Lots of people are there to learn more about the industry.

I'm in the same boat too. I think it maybe too late to find one. Doesnt seem to be too many close. So I may just sit in the parking lot put the seat back and chill.

I dunno what was wrong with Hawks suggestion. We have known about this event for a few MONTHS now. To my thinking, someone whom would want to attend, might have had ample time to make sleeping arrangements. If, planning ability is that poor, we might want to reconsider entering a business such as this. Regardless, seems like a few of em'll get a bit of a taste of finding a tree, or, sleeping on the tarmac. A brief introduction to reality. Myself, believe i'll bring my camping machine.

It's very simple!!!

Those who are attending that have 'D' units may offer to let others who have nowhere to stay, to bunk in the BOX. I know if I didn't have a place to sleep I wouldn't mind crashing in a box. If I knew in advance someone would let me bunk in the box I would bring my air mattress and bedding. There is a restroom to freshen up, or others who do have rooms may let others shower in their room. After all we are a family, RIGHT!!!

How many times we partied in the parking lots till 3 or 4 am, crashed for a few and started all over again the next day. We had a sing along, told ghostly stories, and even those old expedite stories.(kind of like the fish story about the one that got away.)

Stop at a rest area in Ohio and pick up the motel coupon books, the red one which is travel coupon usually have the cheapest rates or if you have a computer and printer go to www.travelcoupons.com and print them out.

The carpet on the floor in my sleeper isnt too bad. It's still open. If ya put your head by the shifter, and stretched out, you could sleep.

I just hope there is parking for all of us.

Dieselphreak: There is beaucoup parking, that shouldn't be a problem. For anyone who could use it, my cargo van will be available for sleeping, Friday & Sat nights. I've already offered the shower in my room to a few people, but if the Holiday Inn has no problem with 85 people taking a shower in my room, one at a time, lol, I don't either. Heck, I'll probably be out in the parking lot anyway, Tony makes it sound like THE place to be! ;)

As the Holiday Inn is an integral part of the Roberts Center, & we'll be there for 2 days - why wouldn't you be able to park overnight?

The parking for trucks and R/V's, whether using the hotel or not, will be available for the duration of the Expo. 24 hr availability to the restrooms at the convention center and there will be trash receptacles and, tentatively, a porta-pot in the parking area.

Thet's good news. BTW, we are bringing a grill and lawnchairs, so everybody feel free to bring something to throw on and I'll make it a party.

There are a bunch of hotels there, but with Kings Island close by they may be a little high. Myself I will be at the house 15 to 20 minutes away, unless there is adult beverages after closing hours.

We are just planning on sleeping in the parking lot. The Pilot there sure wont hold all of us. And it does sound like there will be a great crowd out there.
