Best way to learn about the business is to communicate with as many people as possible, you have to keep in mind that everyone has their own perspective on the business, good and bad, but that is what you want. This forum is a good place to start. Meeting other drivers in truck stops, most will be happy to have a conversation with you. If you can get an introduction to some one in management or dispatch that is a good source of information from the other side of the coin. The more of the Business you understand the better you understand why things happen the way they do. Good Luck.
