I think it's a Ben Franklin quote [and he'd know, having spent half his life in England & France without his wife.] :D

Beached Whales / Truckstops blimps : an unexplainable large expediters.

LowBidder : an Expediter that runs cheap freight and making a killing doing so.

the TinCan filler: can sped weeks at the same truckstop without ever leaving the van.

the MegaYachts : an unexplained overdressed rig. you can fit a van into the sleeper.

the seasoned expediters : they take the whole winter off.

the exEx : they used to pull for FedEx, but found another carrier.

the Purple Glasers : no matter what, they will only haul for FedEx.

C.A.T scan : Panther orientations.

the FreightChasers : once they deliver a load, they will relocate far & beyond until a load offer will come.

the big 3 : Panther/FedEx/Express1/triState.

Dispatchers Brains : a very light load.

True, not everyone feels safe at the posted speed and if it's construction or a new area, a person might drive slower.
I know I probably make people mad in the winter, but I am from California so I don't feel safe driving 65 on the snow, I drive as fast as I feel safe!!!

Me, too. I hate the speed demons on ice. Snow is ok to drive on, but not ice. 70 is as fast as I'll go on ice.

The PRO] They know everthing, you cant tell them a thing. The been there and done it all expediter.But in the end they allways blame the company not themselfs. For not understanding the business. When they lose the truck or job!:D

How about the type that's been mentioned here a few times--they drove big trucks before, but now that they're expediting, they get irate after going 12 hours without a load offer.
