Expediter Training

Are there any expediter companies that provide training like Swift and U.S Express do for new drivers? After you get your CDL, ride with an experience driver/trainer for 2 to 6 weeks to learn the ropes? Or would you get this type of training from a fleet owner? Does anyone know of any fleet owners that provide training for new drivers?

You would most likely get training from a fleet owner. Just about all of the expedite companies use owner/operators and do not have an in house fleet with trainers. However you will still need to show up with a valid medical card and a CDl.
There are a few companies that will give you instruction and then drive their truck but plan on it costing you some bucks.

ConWay NOW used to have a deal thru Driver Solutions where they would train you for your Class B CDL in return for signing on wiht them for year.. Most of those deals are nothing more than indentured servitude.. check for CDL schools in your area.
