Expediter Thanksgiving, Bordentown Petro, 6:30 p.m

All expediters in the Bordentown, New Jersey area are invited to join other expediters for Thanksgiving diner tonight (Thursday, Thanksgiving Day) at the Petro truck stop. We have the back dining room and seating for 15 reserved for this event. All expediters with all carriers are welcome. The meal is free. Dinner is on us (Phil and Diane). If you plan to attend, please let me know by private message so we can be sure to keep a seat for you. I'll check mail every few hours today.

Yes, an admirable thing to do. I'm heading to the other coast, and can't make it. Love to join you and give a tour of the old Farmall after dinner. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Phil, I just left Bordertown last evening. If I was still there I would have take ya'll up on the generous offer. Very nice thing to do for the fellow expediter and EO members. Happy turkey day.

What a great way to spend Thanksgiving! I guess if you can't be with one family, you can spend it with another. Wish we could have joined you.

A good time was had by all. I had not thought about it in family terms like are12 put it, but it is true. People on the road who have never met before can, with little effort, create an event that feels a lot like a family event. The funny thing is that as truckers, we will scatter within hours and may never see each other again. Still, the three hours we spent dining and visiting was pleasant and fun. It beat the heck out of spending time in the truck on Thanksgiving.
