Thank you to all who took time and made the effort to attend YOUR industry trade show this weekend.

Based on the feedback from attendees, exhibitors and our registrars we had a fantastic show - and broke all previous attendance records, I will share that it was over 5,000!

Jeff Jensen is working on a full report along with photos.

The details of the winner will follow â€“ but I can say he is an Owner Operator based out of Texas and leased to SCG Carrier Group and plans to lease the SuperTruck to SCG Group. A very nice fellow and grateful for the truck.

Thank you not only to all those you mentioned but also to you Lawrence. You deserve a far larger thank you than I. These expos are fantastic and amazing in all they offer to prospective, new and experienced expediters alike. I knew how to keep money in my pocket on fuel taxes. Thanks to this year's expo I now know how to keep more money in my pocket from maintenance and repairs. So thank you where it belongs, to you Lawrence.

Garcia & I had a great time, in spite of the lingering bronchitis, and totally agree that Lawrence & Debbie McCord and Terry & Rene O'Connell deserve a standing ovation for a job well done. I didn't win the cool truck - but there's always next yrar, & if I know Elmo, it'll be even better!

Lawrence overlooked thanking the people who really made Expedite Expo 2007 the great success that it was...all of the great expediters that took the time to deadhead short and great distances to Wilmington, OH. There were dozens of expedite trucks in the huge parking area, ranging in size from cargo vans to tractor/trailers, the owners of which gave of their time and money to attend the Expo; we trust they received a return of their investment in the form of enjoyment and value in meeting friends and colleagues.

It is a great testimony to the McCords and their office staff, the supporting sponsors and exhibiters, the many behind the scenes workers, and the staff of the Roberts Convention Center that Expo is the best trucking show of it's kind, anywhere. The Expo would only be a great static display if not for the participants, so thanks to the dozens of forum members, hundreds of expediters and the remainder of the 5000+ attendees who turned static into dynamic.

We also need to chime in on this one! Every year the Expo gets bigger and better. This one was no exception. We try to get to the Louisville truck show and the Expo every year. We have decided to put the Louisville truck on a if we near the show we attend it. The Expo is now a must attend event. You just cannot top the Expo. Thanks to everyone who spent time putting on the truck show!!

As Leo has said it is going to be a very long year now waiting for the next one!!

What a pleasure to meet so many wonderful folks who have a real passion for the entrepreneurial spirit.

A tip of the cap to Lawrence & Debbie McCord for their vision to have Expo 2006 & 2007 at the Roberts Convention Center; to Terry & Rene O'Connell for their continued advice and assistance to all of us and to Dale Gose, Leo Bricker and a host of others who work to make Expediters Online a viable source of information.

I would like to make one suggestion to those who attended the Forum Members Breakfast. It is extremely disrespectful to any guest speaker to talk during their presentation. Actually, I was quite embarrassed by those who engaged in small talk throughout the course of the guest speakerâ€™s presentation. I realize that not every bit of information is applicable to every expediter, but it would only seem reasonable to engage in superfluous conversation outside of the meeting room. I invested my time and effort to learn anything and everything that would allow me to become more proficient at my craft. In the future, please extend some courtesy to the guest speaker and those who came to listen.

Lawrence and staff certainly out did themselves. What a great show. It was wonderful as always to meet so many people. Seems so short and not nearly enough hours to visit with everyone.
Looking forward to the next one.

I too, had a great time. It was nice putting a face to names I've 'talked' to for years. Thanks everyone for all the effort put forth, all the presenters for great workshops, the vendors for great displays.. and everyone who attended.. for making it worthwhile!
