Hey does anyone have any experience working.dealing with these guys
Based out of Cornwall area they drive all over anywhere in North America
pay 70% of all loads. pay in USD cheque when they bid in us. will try to get u at least 1 dollar a mile loaded sometimes can get even 2 on some obscure runs but of course mostly empty back. and like everyone else they bid so some areas u will be sitting waiting in competition with all other bidders..

thinking about signing on tho
downfall is their high insurance at 135$ cdn a week.
thats over 19 dollars a day. all a write off but still thats a lot for a fleet insurance. they have 5$m liability for some reason they wont take me with my 2$m 100,000cargo 2500 deductible that i pay 110 a week for.

other places i was looking at ONTDEL Dynamex and FF eXPRESS only dynamex got back to me but they only really drive within 700 miles

What became of your diesel Transit?

I gave it to my Dad for his painting business truck he's only put on 10 000 km in a year no further prob's Yet basically we traded within family and he helped me with getting a sprinter. Win win cause that transit is not depreciating at all anymore and my sprinter has been reliable at least 70k miles in.. lol

How is the 4 cylinder Sprinter engine performance-wise; power, acceleration, fuel economy etc.

Well it has less power than a 6.. but empty i have gotten as good as 8.1l / 100 km against bad wind etc and loaded with full payload have seen it as high as 11.6
Performs well no Def or emission issues. Yet. At 70k.

The US dollars are great. They will likely get you a backhaul nearly every time. Do they have company trucks? It SHOULDN'T matter, a truck can't be everywhere every time, but beware a company truck located in the same area as you...when it slows down, good luck getting out before the company trucks are filled

Insurance is unavoidable. I pay about the same, fleet insurance on 70% contract...trying to get back on my own plate and the insurance I had 6 months ago is no longer available at any price...

1 more thought...should be 80% ;) at the rates right now in the US, big difference from last year

They sound honest, admitting its hard to get a backhaul so far this year...

As far as I've heard, Expedite direct is a great company and they move their guys quite often. Haven't heard anything bad about them ... work with them from time to time but want to clear up that they seem to run a good shop.
