I have been on ele logs for well over a year now and i love it. I didn't think i would like it but in fact it has given me more real driving time. Because when sitting in traffic it takes me off the driving line

We are also on electronic logs. Like Scuba said, we didn't think we'd like it, but we've gotten used to them and we have also noticed increased driving time.

I thought if you are behind the wheel, moving or not it was considered driving time.....?

P51, that is one of the problems with a bunch of systems, an assumption that you are not driving if the truck is sitting for a while.

I assume when you mean electronic logs you don't mean software logging that is installed in on a computer.

Greg, we use the logs on the QC, and we've continued to use Drivers Daily Log..old habits I guess  I like not having to draw lines anymore

How does it end up giving you more driving time? Are these things legal (to use for logs)?

The Electronic On Board Recorders are legal to a point - the FMCSA has some incomplete regulations on EOBRs. But the software logging issue has come up and bit a few of us on the a** lately - film at 11 about that issue.
