As for the original poster, sorry dude, but this is a business.
If you think for a second that there is such a thing as a van load and a straight truck load, think again. As long as it pays, it goes on my truck - an envelope to car parts to hazmat, it don't matter.
If your company isn't the place for you, look around there are other companies more oppertunities out there.

So, Mr. Vango, or whomever you are, (that all got by me, I didn't even notice), you say you've been in Chi Batmans shoes. Did you go on the internet and complain about everyone that you perceived to be your problem, without any mention of the role you played in your situation? Or, did you do what you had to do to get back on track?
Is anything that isn't "warm and fuzzy" an attack? Reminding someone in this position, in this case the DBP Chi, that they are in control of their destiny has far more value than coddling them like a 3 year old that didn't get the toy they wanted.

I did have problems before I have them now. I am very very fortunate and grateful for the support group I got. Maybe that fellow does not have one yet? Actually I was bit worse off probably at one time. I had to sleep in a old Volkswagen van. I have been in the trucking industry long enough how to tell when a recruiter or dispatcher is lying. (when their lips move).
I don't care what all these so called posters maybe about 6 of them keep telling the world how great they are, the company leased on is, how great they are doing.blah blah..The reality is most of us are barely getting by. I have talked to Van Owners, Straights, Tractor, from all companies the last four months and they seem to paint a different picture then the general 6 here.
Maybe the ones doing so well have a direct line to their companies owners. The owners make sure they run..Especially since you see so much sucking up here and free advertising they get.I wonder how some of them can even look at themselves in the mirror.
Look at the adds and go past truck dealerships and see all the trucks/vans being sold for take over payments, pay it off etc. I met a fellow who got a steal on a W900 KW for balanced owed .
This man I believe told the truth and the people who attacked him are the ones with the direct phone lines...not all them some of them don't even have a clue to whats coming the next few months.Some of the same suck ups that attacked me.
Talked to some of the Cat teams getting 1000 miles a week with perfect stats.Meaning 100s all the way. Solos from all them getting 200 300 if lucky..This was up in Detroit last week at Monroe T/A..So all these yea I am doing great ya ya ya I'm sure they are.
I can swallow the destiny point to a bit. Although so many different variables can happen. Anyone who doesn't believe that is fool. Look at these fleet owners who got five year loans on their rigs.Say they bought them three years ago. Did you, me or even the great wise know it all from Kentucky that post here all the time see this coming so soon? How are they paying for them now?
I thought about 10 more years it would happen..We have Wally World,made in third world countries,send money out of the country,etc to our own fall.Again can anyone truthfully say they saw this mess so soon?. If they can why they should be a Wall Street Journal editor instead of a driver.
And sometimes you need a kick start but then again sometimes I have seen in 48 years that help full kick start could lead to something horrible in some people..By the way has the poster posted again? And yes I tried to help some fools attacking him by telling them its not hard to find ya if they really want to. You don't have clue who your hacking on. Maybe this guy can be a special force vet? Real easily get rid of enemy. Has knowledge and access to find them. So some these idiots attack me for trying to save them from a beating or smack down,maybe death.Their welcome by the way

"Mr_whoever-he-is" kind of reminds me of someone with multiple personalities. One minute he is posting with a somewhat "adult" attitude and style, then he posts with a larger, bold font and can only say childish things like "you got me.. you got me good.. hahahaha.. feel better", then he switches back to the somewhat "adult" style, etc. It's an interesting pattern to watch. Almost seems bi-polar.
It is troubling though to read the remarks that border on being threatening. Threatening remarks and behavior should always be taken seriously and caution should be exercised when communicating and interacting with those who present those types of remarks and behaviors, even subtle ones. I'm not saying this person is or isn't dangerous. I'm just suggesting treading on the side of caution.
