EGL really depends on which station you are running out of. Even then, I would be reluctant. I coordinated their air freight for a little over 2 years that they chartered out to a national carrier. I worked for the air carrier, not EGL. The philosophy at EGL, and arguably most places, but especially EGL is to pass on the problem and let the next person deal with it.
I eventually fought like heck to get out of working with the EGL group because it was such a headache every single day. The station manager and supervisor were great and I consider them to be good friends, but it was absolutely a losing battle.
I am curious to know which station you are thinking of working out of.
