Yes, that is a becoming a problem now. I think it is because of the aforementioned advertising.. "four hours". Due to 'manly pride', they think it will help them with the ladies. A real black market demand has developed. Unfortunately, that pill was never designed for young healthy boys, or men, and I guess the side effects can be even more prevalent.

As funny as the topic seems, as Greg pointed out, the potential side affects are deadly. I'm all for 'manly pride' and 'taking care of business", (dangerous ground here...LOL) but I think I would investigate all possible causes, ie meds, blood pressure, diet, etc.. before resulting to a possibly deadly pill to alleviate the problem.

Remember the Scott Peterson case in Calfornia a couple of years ago. When he was arrested he was about 30. When they searched him they found Viagara in his pockets. I guess having to satisfy the GirlFriend and his wife back to back caused him to get it. Would a legimate DR write a Viagra perscription for a guy that young.

As a person who has seen a lot of the adverse events related to this drug, you would not believe what some people do to have S*E*X. Some things are truly pathetic while others are, well let's say really funny.

One reason I am totally against drug company advertising is illustrated by Viagra and the undeniable fact the doctors don't do their due diligence with most drugs in either prescribing or following up with the patient to find out what is going on. And being men, some seem to overlook problems, like a loss of vision or feelings in your feet (both attributed to Viagra).

Over in India they have been using the drug to treat post operative juvenile cardiac patient’s recovery complications with a lot of success but also over there they did not recognize the patents on the medicine and was producing it at the same plant for their market at the same plant as they produced the real meds for the European market. Now the company has silently said that it can be used for post operative juvenile cardiac patients over here and the doctors are buying into it. Scary stuff, like giving kids Zoloft.

And we know what happened with giving kids Zoloft, and other anti depressants... "oops? what do you mean it makes them MORE suicidal?"
