It's difficult to keep the Teamsters "at bay" when they have been representing the vast majority of the UPS hourly workers for the past 80 or so years.

The Chinese market does not allow sub-prime lending or leasing, they are sales.

If the Volt is built there, which I heard that they are considering it, then they will kill the pole town plant. The sales of the volt hybrid is dismal at best with the only real customer being the US government.

Because the Chinese government is not in the habit of handing out loans to companies that may go away.

On the downside, we are never far from the worst case scenario. We already live in a truck and have quite a bit in common with street people (getting run out of places, being looked down upon by many, working frequently to find a safe place to sleep, etc.).

The difference is that you have millions and they don't.
