I tell my hubby he is queer all the time. I "literally" mean he is odd, which is one of the dictionary definitions. So after years of me calling him queer he had just about had it and wanted to retaliate. In his frustration he called me a lesbian. At first I didn't get it. When I realized why he said it I laughed hysterically. Maybe you had to be there

I think the last time I heard the word gay for any meaning other than homosexual I was maybe 16. That was a long time ago.
