Jayman;
E Units (tractors) will typically run more than any other vehicle type. This is because the tractors are the most versatile unit - they can haul A, B, C, D and E freight loads. Even hauling a van load (2 pallets or less, generally 2500 pounds or less) they are still compensated in the 70 cent to a dollar range. Hauling C or D loads they are paid somewhere in the $1.00 to $1.35 range per loaded mile. This is more than if the tractor was leased to a truckload carrier (not expedite) where they are generally compensated at 85 cents to $1.05 per mile, all miles.
By the way, what happened to those Colts yesterday??? Can't talk, my Steelers looked terrible. At least you'll have the playoffs.
Good luck,
