Dress Code?

What is the uniform in White Glove? Personally I think long pants and logo shirts should be standard in this industry and the shirts should be provided at cost with reimbursement for longevity with the company. After perhaps 90 days with the company 1/2 the cost returned and at 6 months the other 1/2 returned. There should be a mechanism in place to obtain shirts as needed as time goes on for about 1/2 of cost and have that reimbursed after a given period of time as well.

I'm not sure of the answer to slobs although I think they should have to clean up or get out. It reflects badly on everyone to some degree, not just on the one slob. I doubt very many will disagree that bathing and laundering clothes should be a given. I'll attract more darts saying we're not children any more and we should dress like adults not like kids in shorts. Supposedly an old saying was short pants are for boys and long pants are for men. I don't know if it was actually said but at least in business, and this is business, it fits.

That sounds just like my son in law's outfit...Where did you meet him? But you left out the survival kit complete with snare and fishing sipplies.

Those guys that are knocking shorts must not have had to unload a 22,000 lb household goods shipment in Belle Glades Florida in summer or do a 32 stop peddle run in 8 hours for companies where if you have time to stop and use the bathroom your already late to the next stop. Also you dont want to wear long pants if you are on the Yard switcher during a hurricane....too much water will weight ya down.

I'm sure long pants is the way to go when delivering a brain to a brain transplant, or some other thing where you are dealing with people that probably dont own shorts themselves but here where its almost 98 degrees and 100% humidity. Boy or not I'm wearing as little as possible. Maybe I just wont wear anything

No shorts? I would rather do without something else like indoor plumbing or TV. I did see a guy from PA yesterday wearing shorts and I was almost blinded by the white pale glow...I know the Sun works up there too.

That's hilarious. I have this picture of you pulling up to a pickup and when the forklift brings out the brain pallet you say "oh man, another brain, I guess I better get the long pants out."

Dukes, don't you know that when you deliver a brain, you have to wear a lab coat?... or at least those silly green scrubs that you see on all the TV medical shows...
