DOT Inspection

What is the going rate for a cargo van DOT Inspection? Today I was quoted $103 + $3 for the sticker. The most I ever paid was $50.

If your in the Chicagoland area,look up safety lane.There's one in South Holland I.L not sure of the address,i have a Chevy Express which cost me 25 bucks.I don't know if there's a upcharge for Sprinter type vans.

Curious, is it required? In Ontario we have an MTO inspection, where you get to place an ugly yellow sticker on your van. Haven't done it in 12 years, as under 10k aren't required to. However they won't say no if you ask for one

No, it’s a requirement for some carriers (not mandatory for under 10k)
