I would strongly reccomend keeping maintenance, repairs, and safety inspection records just in case you're in an accident and some smart a@# laywer decides to attack your vehicle condition as cause of the accident, weather or not it is your fault. All P.O.V. drivers and laywers see is C.M.V. and $$$ if you're involved in an accident.

VERY good advice, coffee cup! Also, if you run a truck that requires logging, keep ALL of your used log books. This is for the same reason- if you are in an accident and the same smartass lawyer tries to make a case over your driving compitence, a pile of logs slammed down as proof of truck driving expierience can help immensely!
