Don't sweat the small stuff

So many people find so many ways to be unhappy or dissatisfied or otherwise not like their life or some aspects of it. Just about every problem or issue is small stuff in the grand scheme of things.

A friend I admire and appreciate went to the hospital Tuesday night for a severe headache. It was determined he had hydrocephalus. Surgery to relieve the pressure was done apparently successfully however he had a major stroke. At this time his prognosis is significantly challenged. Details are here: http://tinyurl.com/2g6tp2

This just reinforces that most everything we complain and moan about on a daily basis is small stuff. It only seems like big stuff because it is our stuff. Look at the big picture and compare what you have to deal with to fighting for your life. It should make your stuff a lot smaller and easier to handle.

This post takes on a whole new meaning. Thursday, may Dad passed away. We didnt expect it. My 2 brothers and I had to go to Panama City Beach, FL to pack my mom up and bring her home. They are snowbirds.

Try not to neglect spending time with the ones you love and tell them that you love them.

I'm sorry for your loss. There has been no change with my friend. Both those situations further reinforce that almost all the "big stuff" is barely little stuff that people should re-evaluate before getting nuts over it. Good luck and condolences for getting through one of the true big stuff situations in life.
