Fifteen calls @ ten minutes might be hunnert fity minutes, by my figgur'in. Be a couple hours plus??? If yer not finding freight for em, where does the other twenty sum hours go.

Oh, my bad. I guess i'm that busy at the Pass, an better not throw those stones.

Way more calls than that on some days. And yes I do find freight for them when they are in a bad area. Davekc has helped me out on learning how to do it. But your not throwing stones lol

i know what my arpd. is at any given time and know what my goal is for that, it never changes. it is set on the amt. of profit we need to make to be able to follow our business plan. if we do more we make more, we always strive for as much as possible. we tend to rely more on making the profit margin we have set on each load. make the profit on each load and the arpd follows without having to worry about it. i realize this is a little different with a fleet but the idea is the same, you either set a monthly goal for arpd or you set a % for profit for each load as long as you educate the drivers on the profit margins either way will work, just much easier when most do some math to decide whether to accept a load or not. just depends on how many figures you want and on what basis. i just choose to do it going foward versus going backward.
