No problem. Glad it helped. They are actually pretty handy and simple to use. Other calculators are helpful as well to determine simple numbers. The ROI calculator only delivers a percentage, but that is easy to convert to dollars if necessary.
Your still at ROI = net profit after taxes ÷ total assets
But it is still handy to do some simple things.
There are several other types out there that work in a variety of ways.

Before I forget, I read Greg's quote the same place he did. The post may have been re-edited once the author came to his senses.
Hard to tell.

Observant readers will recognize this as BS. I am a frequent forum reader and no one I know or saw ever suggested ROI does not exist. I have never said ROI does not exist. But in an earlier post, you falsely attributed those words to me. If there is editing to be done, it should be you correcting the false statement you made.

In the same post, you talked about keeping the peace. A good way to do that is not misprepresent what I say. If you delete your false words, there will be no need for me to keep this post up to correct them. Delete your false words and I will delete these...in the interests of keeping the peace.

Thats a good thought Rat.

Someone else possibly authored the thread we read and were talking about. If it wasn't you Phil, then don't worry about it.
My apology if what myself and others read wasn't authored by you.
You can then say "I believe in ROI"

Can ROI be expressed as a negative number?

We have secretly replaced dcaliens income with expenses....let's see if he notices.
if your ROI is negative then your opeating in the red.Its costing you more to operate than your taking in.watch out for the repo-man

The title of the thread is "Do you know what it cost for you to operate?"

To me, maybe because I am not the financial guru that some are I don't see what Return on Investment has a thing to do with actual operating costs or the question put forth to the forum members.

Now I maybe wrong but I can't figure out my ROI until I know what my operating costs are and in fact I don't care because my investments is now my time, which I don't know about you but no one has mentioned how to figure hours invested into the ROI and should not BECAUSE IT DON"T MATTER.

So who really cares about ROI anyway?

Do you worry about it at night when you go to sleep?

Oh no, my ROI isn't right, I got to fix my ROI... what can I do.....

Is someone going to write the unabridged history of ROI in the world of Expediting and needs to do immense research on the subject (before you get your shorts in a wade Phil, that is not slamming you it is a rhetorical question for general humor).

or is it one of them RVing expediting things that us phlebs shouldn't know about, like how one justifies using a million dollar prevost motor 'coach' to take the dogs to lunch at McDonald's?
