Recently one of our drivers abandoned our van in Toledo OH and stole the GPS. He supposed to bring the van back (we have a contract) . He quit without any notice. We will sue him.His initials are T.D. If you want info about this driver PM me. He is TriState qualify.

Sometimes it is very hard to find hard working ,trusting indiviuals Odds are this guy has done this before. I think it is important to do a back ground check on new hires.Yes it hurts to have your van or truck sitting.Yet this is for your own protection. In the long run, this will cost you more than having him checked out.Yes you have a contract ,lots of good that will do when he dont have two nickles in his pocket to make a dime He might have sold your GPS at some truck stop for nearly nothing and some trucker is bragging on the CB or at the truck stop what a great deal he got this unit for..Therefore engouraging this person to go out and do it again.I know This creates a hardship on you,but maybe it was a blessing. It might have turned out worse.I wish you the best in the upcoming New Year.

At least you found out during a slow period. But I agree, it sounds like a repeat offender. Probably sold the GPS or needed it to find his way home:rolleyes:
Good luck on the next candidate.

It would require the use of a ship similar to the space shuttle. If this guy was truly able to steal a "GPS", and had the means to do so, why would he even need to expedite?

well it is not I am making fun of the situation but of the use of the letters GPS which is not what you buy.

But anyway if the contract is in place and it spells out a return of the van, then I think you can recoup the cost of retrieval.

Zoli, send me a message if you still need a driver. I may have to work for someone for a while. I'm having a hard time finding a new van. I also have my own GPS unit.

Bored today? Global Positioning System, well they bought a portion of the system.

Yea I'm bored, not much to do with the flu.

It is a pet peeve I guess, the unit is not a GPS, it is a GPS receiver and computer, the GPS unit sits in the sky sending data out to the receiver. They bought a navigation unit and I have one right here that has an MP3 player built into it and it is sitting next to a CB which also has an MP3 player which makes me wonder why would anyone want to buy a stereo now-a-days?

I'm not trying to make fun of Zoli situation, actually I'm glad someone hears me about contracts hope they get this resolved.
