Umm I get it, it is all about the process....
So during the years of the first world war it was the process that screwed the nation into the ground by smashing, free speech and other liberties.
I guess it was all the concern over the process that allowed the democrats to segrigate the military after 45 years of a desegrigated military and another 30 years to partially desegrigate the military.
I guess it was the process that was Kennedy's concern that Sammy wasn't allowed to celebrate the "triumph" for his people by having a new type of president in office.
So it was really the process that made Jamie Gerolick to right the memo forbid the different agencies form speaking to each other. I don't remember any process with the memo, do you?
Turtle, the philosphical differences are cast aside in this case and the entire GITMO matter has not been about the differences because there are processes in place to handle these cases and they have been used for the last 80 years which worked until now but that isn't good enough because it doesn't bring us down to their level.
The real reason for this goes right back to the hatred for this country and what it stands for, the democrats have been clear on this matter, especially when they cheer on the rhetoric from outside our country.
No matter what, it comes down to the fact that the biggest critics of this move are the people sitting in NYC, the ones who claim that 9/11 is their date of infamy and are all die hard democrats/Bush critics. They asked for this, they helped vote this adminstration in office and need to share the blame for it. If they were so angry with this decision which they knew was coming, then they have two senators and 16 congressmen who can bring the fight to the WH and DoJ to get it changed for them. But regardless they will still cling to their processes and rhetoric and vote democrat for the rest of their lives.
