Disgusted Over Terrorists Being Moved...

Here's a link to Mark Levin's website which includes the letter to Obama as well as an audio clip from one of the surviving family members. If you're at all outraged, I'll ask that you sign the letter.

In the past year, I've become friends with a surviving family member. You really begin to look at these things differently when you put a face to it and have regular communications with these folks.

Someone must think doing this trial in NYC is making the victims feel better or something...

As I proposed...this is going to turn into a zoo and media feeding frenzie...

A simple military trial and hangem high..

Martyrdom or not should NOT be a consideration.. we should hang their bodies from the highest tree and let their corpses rot to show our enemies we mean business...They do it to our troops!!!

Sorry if this offends anyone here but ... so what!

For the longest time, NYC people have been critical of the Bush administration during and after the event, demanding a 9/11 investigation to find out why he lied and let this happen, supporting a politically motivated selection process for that panel then allowing Jamie Greolick to be part of the panel. She, along with Reno is the real cause for mush of the problems we still have with our intelegence system - Fort Hood is another result of her memo.

These are the people who have been so demanding but failed to understand that it is the democrates, like Shumer, Clinton, Kerry, Kennedy and other elected officials of that area are part of the problem and the lost lives are partially on their hands too.

When Sandy Berger committed a serious crime of espionage during war time, many in these 9/11 groups justified his actions as protecting Clinton and then when he got his 'punishment' some complained about it.

Some of the 9/11 families are the ones who are on the side of those who think water boarding is torture but because it produced results, they still refuse to support Bush and or his administration actions.

Now I bet most of the NYC population voted for Obama, and in doing so, they should not b*tch about bringing any terrorist to this country because he and Holder and the others of his kind before and during his campaign, with others who have helped these terrorist with legal aid and political lobbying have said the same thing that Clinton and Reno have clearly said in the past THEY WILL PURSUE CRIMES OF THIS NATURE WITHIN THE CIVILIAN COURT SYSTEM AND PUNISH THEM ACCORDINGLY BASED ON THE COURTS DECISIONS

So as cold as I may sound, this is the results of bashing an administration for 7 years, making fun of the president trying to protect the country and being dumb enough not to listen to the words of the messiah but be mesmerized by the color of his skin and his articulate speech making ablities, ends up with this cr*p we are now faced with.

Bringing Khalid Shiek Mohammad into the civilian court system is a political stunt with the sole purpose of embarrassing the previous administration. It's not about putting KSM on trial. Obama promised the extreme left of his party he would find a way to put the Bush warhawks under legal scrutiny. The MoveOn.org people and folks like George Soros want the respective heads of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld on a platter.

What we are about to witness is the criminalization of politics.... a new administration goes back and prosecutes its political adversaries from a prior administration. It is a very dangerous game.

Through the liberal discovery process of a civil trial, AG Holder can direct his staff to focus on enhanced interrogation procedures such as waterboarding. KSM was waterboarded many times. Obama and Holder won't prosecute Bush and company themselves.... but they know full well that they are exposing the Bush administration to criminal charges before a world court in Europe somewhere.

Moreover, this cowardly move by Obama will expose the identities of many others who helped our cause in the war on terror. This criminalization of politcis is a grave danger to our democracy. Obama is playing high-stakes poker with our national security. All for the purpose of making himself look good in foreign capitols. It appears Obama's only allegiance is to himself. But, we already knew that.

The decision to bring him to NYC sickens me! He is not a "criminal" he is a terrorist. He was captured outside the US. He is a prisoner of war.
I can't figure out how they are spinning this to say he deserves to have a fair trial under our constitution.

Our Constitution!?!? barry as made it clear well before he was even elected to state office in Ill that he held our Constitution in comtempt and a "limiting" document that didn't help those that have the "entitlement" mentality...i mean he has also made sure that our military reads "Miranda rights" to those that are arrested in the war theater.....that and this case, are as was pointed out, he is doing this to embarrass bush...while opening the door wide for the same thing to happen to him when he leaves office.....

I reiterate, it is not about putting KSM on trial. It's all about putting Bush on trial. If Obama was serious about prosecuting KSM, then KSM would be facing a no-nonsense military tribunal. Our nation will pay a dear price for Obama's foolishness.

That audio can be a little difficult to understand...here's the text taken from THIS SITE. The writer of the article seems shocked to have seen this discussion on MSNBC.

If you look at the victories and failures of the civil rights movement and its litigation strategy in the court, I think where it succeeded was to invest formal rights in previously dispossessed people, so that now I would have the right to vote. I would now be able to sit at the lunch counter and order and as long as I could pay for it I’d be OK. But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it’s been interpreted, and the Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the federal government or state government must do on your behalf.
And that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court-focused I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change. In some ways we still suffer from that.

So since this thread has turned into a whizzing contest of what Barry did or did not say about the Constitution....maybe some of his defenders can show me where it says IN THE CONSTITUTION that these foreign freak terrorists have the same rights that you and I enjoy as American citizens......just sayin'.

One of the cardinal rules in evaluating politicians is to ignore what they SAY and pay close attention to what they DO. When you distill all the the rhetoric and lip service from Barack Hussein Obama and look at his actual agenda and to whom the benefits of his actions go, you have to wonder where his allegiances actually lie. It becomes more obvious with every passing day that he is a muslim sympathizer. With this decision to allow the 911 terrorists access to our criminal courts and a world stage to promote their jihadist beliefs, he becomes an Islamic jihadist enabler. Where else could they spread the word of their cause and at the same time expose critical classified information from our defense dept? Also, unless I'm mistaken it only takes one juror to keep them from getting convicted in a criminal trial. Considering the incompetence level of the Obama/Holder Justice Dept., nothing should be taken for granted. Even if they do get convicted, they have the means to keep their verdicts and sentences in appeals for the rest of their natural lives.
